Asake (Official Music Video)\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/22PZkwJpu9k?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Tinubu on Wednesday signed the Act into law, which was passed by the National Assembly on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The amendment comes amid intense public debate over the electronic transmission of election results in real time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The harmonised report of the bill, including the contentious Section 60(3), was passed by both chambers of the National Assembly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wike described Tinubu\u2019s assent as a demonstration of his commitment to deepening the democratic process by making elections more credible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to him, the development has ended unnecessary protests over the Electoral Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDemocracy has always been a work in progress due to the evolving democratic process.
